2. Cookies and related technologies

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. Cookies can keep a cart working, secure a session, remember a preference, or support a requested service. We may also use local or session storage, embedded content, remote resources, and server logs. Server logs are not cookies, but may contain data such as IP address, browser information, requested page, time, errors, and security events.

A first-party cookie is set by TWL. A third-party cookie is set by another provider whose service is used on a TWL page. Cookies may end when you close the browser or remain for a stated period.

3. Consent and current categories

Our current categories are:

  • Strictly necessary: security, network stability, consent memory, sign-in, cart, checkout, and requested payment functions. These cannot all be disabled through our controls because the service may not work without them.
  • Functional: optional preferences and features, such as recently viewed products, dismissed store notices, embedded forms, and remote fonts.
  • Measurement or marketing: optional technologies used by a third-party feature for service measurement or marketing. TWL does not currently select a separate audience analytics service or advertising cookies, but Zoho or a payment provider may use its own technologies as described below.

Where consent is required, optional technologies are activated only after you make a clear choice. The cookie banner allows you to accept or reject optional cookies and, where offered, choose by category. You can continue with necessary cookies only.

You may withdraw or change consent through Cookie Settings in the website footer or banner. A necessary cookie or storage entry may remember your choice. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

4. Current cookie and technology inventory

A technology appears only when the relevant page, feature, or action uses it. Cookie names may include a site-specific suffix.

Not every item is set on every visit. Sign-in cookies require sign-in, and cart technologies depend on cart use and the active WordPress, WooCommerce, and theme configuration.

Zoho mailing-list form

A Zoho form embedded in an iframe can make a request to Zoho when it loads. Zoho may use cookies or storage to display and secure the form, manage a session, remember preferences, measure the service, or support marketing. Names and durations are controlled by Zoho and may change.

Technology Purpose Duration Category and control
Zoho embedded form and associated cookies or storage Display and secure the form and process a subscription Varies Functional, and optional where used for measurement or marketing

The form may collect name and email for mailing-list administration. If the form is unavailable because optional technology is blocked, email us for subscription help.

Google Fonts

The site may request fonts from Google. This remote request is not a TWL cookie, but it may disclose your IP address, browser information, referring page, and request time to Google.

Technology Purpose Duration Category
Request to fonts.googleapis.com or fonts.gstatic.com Display website typefaces Request and provider log retention Functional

Blocking remote fonts may cause a fallback typeface to appear.

Payments

When you choose PayPal, Flutterwave, or Paystack, open its checkout, or load its payment component, that provider may use cookies or storage to authenticate the session, prevent fraud, secure the payment, remember checkout preferences, and complete the transaction.

Provider Duration Category and control
PayPal Varies under PayPal's policy Strictly necessary when PayPal is chosen
Flutterwave Varies under Flutterwave's policy Strictly necessary when Flutterwave is chosen
Paystack Varies under Paystack's policy Strictly necessary when Paystack is chosen

Payment technologies may operate on the provider's domain. Blocking necessary payment cookies may prevent checkout.

Hosting, security, and external links

MDDHosting and related security services may process server logs and, if enabled, use short-lived session, load-balancing, or security cookies to deliver and protect the site. These are strictly necessary.

A normal link to Telegram, WhatsApp, or another website does not place that service's cookies on TWL. Once you open the destination, it may use cookies and device storage under its own policy.

5. Browser controls

Most browsers let you delete cookies, block all or third-party cookies, clear site storage, allow selected sites, or notify you when a cookie is placed. Blocking all cookies may stop sign-in, carts, checkout, consent memory, and payments from working.

Deleting a cookie does not remove server records or unsubscribe you from marketing. Use the unsubscribe link in an email or contact us to stop marketing.

6. Retention and updates

The durations above describe how long a cookie or storage key normally remains on a device. Related personal data may follow a different retention period described in the TWL Privacy Policy. Providers control their own durations, and your browser may remove data earlier.

We may update this policy when our website, consent tool, plugins, embedded forms, payment methods, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and keep the inventory aligned with the technologies in use.
